My nephew had always been a quiet child; not very excitable. But one day, while on our way home, we stopped at a railroad crossing. He immediately perked up with excitement from crossing arms coming down and the flashing lights. He smiled and clapped the whole way home.

Since that day, he’s been obsessed with trains. So, as a surprise for his birthday, I built him a barrel train that he can ride in. He loved it! I drove him around our family farm for at least 2-hours and he never got tired of it. He was constantly smiling and waving to our animals. (And to this day, it’s one of my most cherished memories.) 

He and I both loved the experience so much that we wanted to share it with other children!
